A BILL to amend article one, chapter five-f of the code of West
Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended,
by adding thereto a new section, designated section two-a,
relating to the position of secretary of the department of
education and the arts.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article one, chapter five-f of the code of West
Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be
amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section two-
a, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS.
§5F-1-2a. Elimination of the position of secretary of the
department of education and the arts.
The position of secretary of education and the arts is
abolished.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to eliminate the positionof super secretary of the department of education and the arts.
